Hi everyone!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Liz and I am the Funshine coordinator at The Friendship Circle! As the Funshine coordinator, I encourage and show appreciation to our employees, volunteers, and donors. I have Cerebral Palsy which limits my physical ability, but Friendship Circle has been so great at including me. I first heard about The Friendship Circle a couple years ago and was really in awe of their mission of having a place where everyone belongs! In 2022, I did my marketing internship at the cafe and felt at home. Since graduating, I have worked part time at this amazing organization and participated in the social programs for adults with disabilities. I have seen and can attest to the impact The Friendship Circle has had and will continue to have on so many people. This community is more than a community—it’s truly a second family! The relationships that are created are so beautiful to witness. For my bike ride this year, I am asking my friends with disabilities to join me in riding! We are Team Ability & Friends! We don’t let our disabilities stop us from having a productive and enjoyable life. Please consider donating to my fundraiser so people can experience acceptance and inclusion!
