Thanks for visiting!!
I am participating in the Friendship Circle 100 km bike ride on August 4th. I will be working hard between now and then to spend as much time as possible on my bike to train for whatever the weather and wind bring to Wisconsin on August 4th! Your donation toward my efforts will be very meaningful to me personally and will help promote and sustain the wonderful programs of The Friendship Circle of Wisconsin. I'm not sure, but I might be the oldest woman participating in this biking distance on the August 4th ride. I've been wanting to help The Friendship Circle in this way for a number of years. I decided, after my 76th birthday in March, that I'd better make 2024 the year it happens!
The Friendship Circle exists to bring happiness and companionship to children and young adults with special needs, by celebrating their individuality, as well as bringing energy, support, and peace of mind to their families. Friendship Circle chapters in local communities create meaningful relationships and friendships between teen volunteers and children with special needs, increasing confidence, igniting dreams, and redefining worldviews for both parties. The Friendship Circle of Wisconsin also sponsors a fabulous bakery/cafe that provides training and employment for differently abled folks in the community and is a wonderful gathering spot for neighbors. I have been so impressed with this program and I want to do whatever I can to sustain it and help it grow. I have set a goal to raise $5000. Although this is indeed ambitious....with your help I know I can do this!
Thank you for considering joining me in this effort with your financial support!
Together we can make a difference!
