Kids with special needs, meet Friendship. Friendship, meet kids with special needs.

That will be my message this January , when I kick off from Clearwater, Florida, together with a team of runners and walkers to raise awareness and cultivate acceptance for individuals with special needs.

With nearly 100 chapters, Friendship Circle has touched thousands of people across the world. The organization pairs teens with individuals who have special needs to form most unique friendship. The volunteering teens develop an incredible sense of altruism while our children gain true friendship and acceptance in their communities.
Team Friendship aims to take this to the next level. I am walking a 10K. That’s how far I’ll go for these friendships. Put it another way: I’ll log a whopping 12,400+ strides to make these friendships continue to flourish.

Over the years, I have worked with teen mentors and have see the impact it has had on all involved with this organization.

I can testify to the amazing dedication of the Friendship Circle Family. Anyone who is involved with Friendship Circle lives and breathes their motto of acceptance and kindness. I have witnessed first-hand how much these children gain from their Friendship-Circle-friends. But more than anything, I have witnessed how impacted volunteers get from our friends.

This organization means the world to me and your support would mean just as much.
